Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Harbor Freight and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be receiving and put-away. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Handle work involving customer tracking with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
