Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Union Foods Group is a Des Moines food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving customer specifications with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
