Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Columbus, OH)

Ironwood Ashton Freight is a Columbus logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving customer tracking with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner.
