Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Chicago plant, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Handle work involving bindery work with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
