Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Harbor Transit Planning is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving route schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
