Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Charlotte design routes and schedules, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving ridership counts with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
