Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Beacon Press Group is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Handle work involving proofing with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
