Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Forge Freight Group and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be receiving and put-away. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving proof of delivery with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
