Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Union Facilities and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be receiving and put-away. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving contractor visits with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
