Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Birmingham plant. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on receiving and put-away. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving sanitation schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
