Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Vale Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Birmingham, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving maintenance stores with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
