Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Rowan Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Birmingham, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our receiving and put-away. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving safety inspections with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
