Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Austin, TX)

Cedar Beacon Markets is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving shrink and waste with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
