Warehouse Associate - receiving and put-away (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Vale Manufacturing Group is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on receiving and put-away for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving work orders with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
