Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (San Jose, CA)

Highbridge Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Jose, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving proof of delivery with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
