Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (San Jose, CA)

Bright Junction Press is a printer and publisher in San Jose serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle work involving press runs with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
