Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Forge Foods produces packaged foods at its Sacramento plant, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving production batches with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
