Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Iron Housing is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on order picking and packing for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving waiting lists with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner.
