Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Thistle Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Rochester, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving classroom supplies with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
