Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Richmond, VA)

Northwind West Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Richmond working with agencies and riders, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving route schedules with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
