Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Transit Planning is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on order picking and packing for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Handle work involving survey data with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
