Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (remote)

Summit Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Indianapolis plant. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Handle work involving allergen controls with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
