Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (remote)

Bluepeak Forge Freight is a Birmingham logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving carrier rates with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
