Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Providence, RI)

Northwind West Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Providence. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Handle work involving carrier rates with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
