Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Portland, OR)

Northwind Meridian Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Portland. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving production batches with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
