Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Portland, OR)

Amberfield Sparrow Freight is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on order picking and packing for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving proof of delivery with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
