Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Northwind Field Housing and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be order picking and packing. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving lease compliance with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
