Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Portland, OR)

Northwind Nest Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Portland, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving supplier deliveries with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
