Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Lantern Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Philadelphia plant. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving scrap and rework with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
