Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Corner Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Oakland, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving meal programmes with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
