Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Loom Early Learning runs childcare centres in New Orleans caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Handle work involving classroom supplies with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
