Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak Stone Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around New Orleans. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Handle work involving accessibility audits with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
