Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Madison, WI)

Cedar Ridge Construction is a Madison contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a large organisation of about 622 people based in Madison. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving permits with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
