Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Madison, WI)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Madison working with agencies and riders, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving service alerts with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
