Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Houston, TX)

Summit Willow Construction is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on order picking and packing for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 955 people based in Houston. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving materials orders with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
