Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Hartford, CT)

Bright Wilder Housing manages affordable housing communities across Hartford. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Handle work involving rent assistance with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
