Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Haven Early Learning runs childcare centres in Hartford caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving family communication with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
