Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Lumen Summit Housing and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving lease compliance with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
