Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Basin Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Handle work involving collection routes with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
