Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Lantern Property Management is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on order picking and packing for vendor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving vendor invoices with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
