Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Kestrel Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Des Moines plant. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a large organisation of about 399 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Handle work involving print quotes with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
