Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Pine Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Des Moines plant, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would join a small organisation of about 100 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving bindery work with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
