Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Clear Freight Partners and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be order picking and packing. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving claims with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
