Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Ember Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Des Moines plant, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving machine downtime with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
