Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Silverline Timber Housing Group and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be order picking and packing. You would join a small organisation of about 178 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Handle work involving repair requests with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
