Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Ridge Auto Group is a Birmingham company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving parts orders with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
