Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Birmingham, AL)

Highbridge Haven Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Birmingham, and we need a Warehouse Associate to lead our order picking and packing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving licensing records with care and follow safety rules. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Load and unload trucks safely. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
