Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Wren Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Birmingham. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving cold storage with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
