Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Birmingham, AL)

Amberfield Rowan Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Birmingham design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Handle work involving survey data with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
