Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Vale Markets is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on order picking and packing for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving promotions with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
